RCOBW is focused on the continuation of the Eastern Caribbean Neo-Natal Project – working alongside the Vice President and the Chief Program Officer of the World Pediatric Project based in Richmond Virginia.
We were the inaugural local support team for the initial project that was operated in St Lucia and Grenada in 2017. The purpose of the next phase is to give extended modern neonatal training for medical personnel in Dominica, St Kitts and Nevis. RCOBW plans to make a financial donation (approximately $10,000) to facilitate the training meeting for medical personnel here in Barbados. An international Rotary club from the USA (St Louis, Missouri) has expressed an interest in partnering with us on this worthy Foundation project.
